Glasgow School of Art graduate Tom Lindow, whose background is in manufacture and fabrication for artists and designers, runs a research and development program for a studio in London. Meanwhile, production from his own studio utilises varied mediums, with projects existing somewhere between order and chaos.

Inspired by the Vacanti ear-mouse experiment of 1997,Tom Lindow’s sugarmice are handmade in his kitchen. Consisting of sucrose, glucose, glycerine, cream of tartar, flavourings and colours, they completely edible, but are produced with one question in mind; of course you could eat it, but do you really want to?
