Based at his Limehouse studio, print artist Alex Booker runs Booker Print House. Often focusing on nautical themes, his work explores the properties of ink and wood. Alex’s work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2014.

In June 2017, Alex Booker travelled to a Tanzania to teach a marginalised community with albinism the art of woodcut printing. Alex was part of a team of volunteers who travelled to Tanzania from all over the world with one shared mission: to use their various talents and trades to help a local community with albinism develop new skills and knowledge. The trip was organised by Standing Voice, a charity close to Zetteler’s heart that was founded to defend the rights of people with albinism in Africa. This bold print was made by Alex in response to the trip.
