Based at his Limehouse studio, print artist Alex Booker runs Booker Print House. Often focusing on nautical themes, his work explores the properties of ink and wood. Alex’s work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2014.
Made in 2014, this woodcut and letterpress printed piece was inspired by the plight of the honey bee and created to raise awareness of the importance of the bee on the ecology of the planet. Limited edition of 40, printed on 430 x 400mm Japanese Hosho paper.
